The Walnut Tree is proud to sponsor Mere Cricket Club

Mere C C was reformed 4 years ago and has gone from strength to strength since then. The club's senior team currently plays in the Three Counties League, a Sunday friendly league and this season finished in it's highest position of third, although unlucky not to have won it, having had games affected by weather. It also plays in a number of Sunday friendlies and midweek 20/20 games. More players are always needed and you will find the club a friendly and welcoming one where the social aspect of cricket is at the forefront!

The Club has a thriving junior section and this season fielded sides at under 9 , 11, 13 and 15 age groups. Training takes place on Friday evenings and is attended by in excess of 40 youngsters on a regular basis.
